Panthers improve to 3-0
Jemison improved to 3-0 with a win Friday. The Panthers won at Carbon Hill, 39-12, despite a slow start.
JHS led just 13-0 at halftime, scoring on a 10-yard pass from Kevin Nunn to Randy Satterfield and on a 59-yard run by Satterfield.
Carbon Hill cut into the lead with a touchdown run with 6:35 remaining in the third quarter, but Satterfield answered right back by returning the ensuing kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown.
Just about 1 minute into the fourth quarter, a nine-yard touchdown run by Keyshawn Jemison seemed to open the floodgates, as the Panthers would then score on a 70-yard run by John Underwood and a 68-yard run by Jimmy Archie in a matter of minutes.
JHS rolled to 548 rushing yards on 36 attempts.
Underwood led the way with 196 yards on 10 carries.
RaeQuane Jones tallied 20.5 tackles and one sack.
